Global Bottled Water Markets

The global bottled water market advanced by 6% in 2007, with bottled water volumes reaching 206 billion litres in that year.  With a 7.9% Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) in the years 2002 to 2007, bottled water clearly remains a soft drink force to be reckoned with.

More than half (59%) of the bottled water drunk in the World is purified water, the remaining (41%) being spring or mineral water.  While bottled water originates from protected sources, tap and well (bore-hole) water comes mostly from unprotected sources.

Bottled water continues to stake its claim to consumer 'share of throat', as demand for a healthy soft drink option has prevailed. The fundamental bottled water values of quality, purity, availability and everyday re-hydration remain strong amongst consumers all across the globe.

Since the advent of pure water in Nigeria, consumers have been inundated with all kinds of water in various shapes and sizes. Various organizations ranging from Nigerian Bottling Company, UAC and a whole list of others have commenced production of water in bottled form.

More than 1 billion people around the world consume unsafe drinking water and every year 3.4 million people-- mostly children-- die due to water-related illnesses, according to a report from the World Health Organization (WHO) released on People in the developing world are particularly at risk for water-borne diseases. About 2.2 million people die of diarrhea caused by drinking contaminated water and 90% of those deaths are among children.

Standard based on feed water of 1,000 parts per million (PPM), pH 7, 8 grains hardness, 77ºF, <0.3 PPM Iron/Magnesium, <0.1 Chlorine, <5 PPM Silica. Any variation from these standards may require changes in pretreatment requirements. A detailed water analysis is recommended prior to quoting the system.

Distilled Water – We Duplicate Nature’s Way

Distillation mimics Nature’s Hydrologic cycle - the ongoing cycle of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. This is the process that turns contaminant-laden seawater into fresh, pure rainwater.

Here is a true story …  We had one of our seminars in Caribbean Islands.  As we all know, people in some of those islands collect rainwater for drinking.  Every day close to late afternoon, it starts raining. There is no way that could drink from the ocean because it is contaminated.  It has 35,000 parts per million in different contaminants. When we tested the rainwater, what was the TDS? ZERO parts per millions.  That’s exactly what distillation does to the contaminated feed water supply. Distillation is by far the best water treatment method among all.  That is what makes distillation premium.

How it works:

1. Raw Water enters the boiling chamber where it is boiled to produce steam.
2. The steam rises through a separator to remove the droplets which might contain impurities.
3. Steam enters the heat exchange chamber where it gives up its heat through the walls. The heat is used to boil raw water in the second chamber.
4. The condensed steam collects to the bottom of the heat exchanger as high purity distilled water.
5. the steam from the raw water in the second boiling chamber goes through the next separator and repeats the process up to 6 times thus making the equipment energy efficient.
6. After the initial boiling action, the steam is reused 5 times to boil the additional raw water without the use of more energy.

This is tremendous dollar saving to your business your operating cost significantly drops allowing you to compete in the market.

Ordering Information

Lead-Time, Ordering & Payment Terms:

• The lead-time for a complete Water Processing Center is typically 9- 12 weeks. This may vary depending on monthly production schedules and order backlogs.
• Estimates of lead-time can be provided by Pure & Secure LLC.  Your planned delivery date will be communicated to you as part of the Pure & Secure Water USA acknowledgement of your order.
• Proforma Invoice and Order Forms will be provided; and will price out each component so you can determine your final systems price.
• Orders must be placed in writing and accompanied by a down payment of 50%.  The balance of payment is due at shipment.  An order without down payment will not be processed by Pure & Secure LLC.

Shipping:

• Your Water Processing Center will be shipped via either air or ocean (per your budget and urgency) shipping cost on the Turnkey Water Store Equipment will be based upon the equipment’s final destination, weight and dimensions to anywhere in the Nigeria

Warranty:

There is a one year warranty on the Turnkey Water Store Equipment and its components. Installation or Startup must be performed by a manufacturer authorized technician. Testing and Maintenance is required for warranty.

Installation, Start-up, Troubleshooting and Training

A factory-certified technician will install your equipment and perform the initial start-up (cost of technician travel and accommodation expense will be torn by the customer).  Troubleshooting and proper operation will be taught to you and your staff, so the equipment can be maintained and will perform for many years to come.  Follow-on maintenance and required servicing can be performed through Pure & Secure Water USA (Lagos Nigeria) technical support staff.
